Loughborough Lightning play their final match of the 2024/25 Premiership Women’s Rugby season on Friday 21 February when Trailfinders Women are the visitors to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens (kick-off: 7.45pm).
Ahead of the match we are inviting all Lightning supporters to vote for their player of the season!
Any player who has made five or more PWR appearances is eligible, with the winner being announced after the Trailfinders game and presented with their trophy, which is sponsored by the Saints Supporters Club.
“This is the second season that we have been involved in the Lightning Supporters’ Player of the Season award and as the Supporters Club for all teams associated with Northampton Saints, we are delighted to sponsor the competition,” said SSC spokesperson, Lis Saunders.
Last season, Sadia Kabeya was voted as the Saints Supporters Club Lightning player of the season award, as chosen by SSC members, while Daisy Hibbert-Jones won the official Lightning supporters’ award, as voted for via a poll on the Northampton Saints website.
This season, and moving forward into the future, there will be one supporters’ award, sponsored by the SSC and will be decided by an online poll accessible to all Lightning supporters via the form below! Voting closes at 12pm on Friday 21 February.
