Loughborough Lightning have signed Scotland international fullback Chloe Rollie for the remainder of the 2022/23 Allianz Premier 15s season.
The 27-year-old has notched up a half-century of international caps since her Scotland debut back in 2015, while also representing her country’s Sevens side from 2016 onwards and making her Commonwealth Games debut in 2022 for Team Scotland.
Born in Edinburgh and raised in Jedburgh, Rollie started rugby aged eight at Jedburgh where her brother and father played.
A product of Parkside Primary and Jedburgh Grammar School, she moved to Murrayfield Wanderers from Borders club Melrose, before enjoying stints at Lille Métropole, Harlequins and Exeter Chiefs.
Rollie said: “I wanted to come to Loughborough Lightning because of the way that the team play. I think it’ll suit my style perfectly and bring me on as a player.
“The fact that there’s a few other Scottish international players already at the Club too makes it that little bit more homely.
“My aims now are to become a pillar player within this Lightning group, and to put my stamp on the team whilst enjoying the rugby again in the Allianz Premier 15s competition.”
