And four young Saints were among the starting XV that secured a 39-18 victory in Narbonne last night. Two conversion from James Grayson kept England 19-15 ahead at the break before the Saints fly-half added another penalty.

And with strong performances up front from Toby Trinder and Ehren Painter, alongside Fraser Dingwall in the centres, the side sped to the bone-point win with two further second-half tries.
England will next play Italy in Perpignan on Sunday (2 June) before ending their Pool B fixtures against Scotland in Beziers.
