James Ramm named cinch Player of the Month for January

James Ramm has been named cinch Player of the Month for January, after the back’s performances throughout the month impressed Northampton Saints supporters.

The 26-year-old was an ever-present for Northampton throughout the month, where Saints’ mixed bag of results in both the Gallagher Premiership and Investec Champions Cup saw home victories over Bath Rugby (35-34) and Munster Rugby (34-32), while losses came to Stade Francais (45-35) and Harlequins (22-19) on the road.

Ramm featured at both wing and fullback across the four clashes and scored an all-important try against Munster, while making 39 carries, 21 tackles and hitting 32 attacking rucks last month.

And Ramm took home the January prize after topping the supporter vote, coming away with 33% of the votes to finish ahead of fellow nominees Josh Kemeny, Curtis Langdon, Tom Pearson and Tom Seabrook

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.

This month, Rodney Hedley was chosen out of over 500 supporters who voted to collect a Saints ball signed by the fullback.
