Henry Pollock has been named cinch Player of the Month for October, with the 19-year-old’s impressive performances throughout the month seeing him take home the trophy for the second time in his career.
Pollock – who was named man-of-the-match last weekend for England A in their 38-17 victory over Australia A – featured in all four of Northampton’s outings last month, as two home victories against Harlequins (33-29) and Sale Sharks (47-17) sandwiched tough losses on the road, first at Leicester Tigers (24-8) and then at Bristol Bears (31-23).
The young back rower started two of those clashes and Pollock’s abrasive attack put the flanker centre stage as he made some 37 carries across his four appearances.
And Pollock took home the October prize after claiming an overwhelming majority of the supporter vote, coming away with 61% of the votes to finish ahead of fellow nominees Rory Hutchinson, Josh Kemeny, Tom Pearson and James Ramm.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month, Gemma Gent was chosen out of over 600 supporters who voted to collect a Saints ball signed by the back rower.
