Bath Rugby vs Northampton Saints

Saints take the restart but there's a forward pass as they try to exit their own 22. Scrum Bath. 

Scott-Young is up for the lineout and Thame is nearly through off the back of it. Saints earn a penalty as Bath come in at the side and  McParland takes it quickly. Saints make it up into Bath's 22 but Bath go off their feet again and Hutchinson puts the ball into the corner for a Saints lineout there. 

Saints defend hard as Bath creep into Saints' half and Pearson gets over the ball to earn Saints a penalty there. Hutchinson sends the ball into touch for a lineout. 

Bath overthrow the lineout but manage to regather and Saints knock the ball on in a tackle as it comes into the midfield. Scrum Bath on halfway. 

Schreuder sends another box kick up and this one Litchfield takes. Ramm and Litchfield come forwards, before the latter offloads to McParland. The scrum-half makes it into Bath's 22 but the home side get over the ball there and Bailey find touch with the penalty for a lineout on halfway. 

Schreuder sends the box kick up again and finds touch once more. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

Stooke steals the lineout though and Schreuder clears to touch. Seabrook takes the lineout quickly and McParland and the winger make good ground. But Smith's offload to Haffar goes forwards and Bath have the scrum. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum and Savala sends the ball into the corner for a Saints lineout there. 

Lockett is up for the lineout but Saints knock the ball on in the midfield and Bath will have the scrum. 

No conversion for Bailey out wide and Bath knock the ball on into touch on the restart. Saints choose the lineout to restart. 

Ramm takes the high ball as Bath send it up from the restart but Undersell strips the fullback in the tackle and Bath play on. 

Savala replaces Sleightholme as we restart. 

Penalty Bath at the scrum though and Gallagher puts the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Lockett disrupts at the lineout and Bath knock the ball on there. Scrum Saints. 

Russell sends the ball back Saints' way and Sleightholme clears to touch. Lineout Bath on halfway. 

Pearson and Haffar make good ground for Saints but the latter is penalised for rolling of the floor and Gallagher puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout back inside Saints' half. 

Pearson, McParland and Thame enter play as we restart, with Ludlam, James and Odendaal making way. 

Penalty at the lineout for Saints as Bath make contact in the air and Hutchinson sends the ball into touch for a lineout back in Bath's half. 

Iyogun, Matavesi, Millar Mills and Mayanavanua are replaced by Haffar, Smith, Hill and Munga as we set the lineout. 

Graham gets the ball away from the scrum and hares forwards, making it almost up to the halfway line before he's taken. Hutchinson and Sleightholme get play into Bath's half but the home side intercept the ball there and Lawrence chips through into touch. Lineout Saints. 

Lawrence barges forwards off the lineout but Saints' defence holds firm. And the rewards come for Saints in the form of a Bath knock on. Scrum Saints on their own five metre line. 

Gallagher returns to the field as we set the scrum and a big shove from Bath there earns them the penalty. Gallagher puts the ball into the corner for a Bath lineout there.

James sends the ball high off the lineout and Muir is there. But the ball is knocked on by Bath as it comes wide the other way and Saints have the scrum. 

Saints come forwards off the lineout but Bath steal the ball at the breakdown and Russell clears to touch again. Lineout Saints just outside their own 22. 

Spencer sends the ball high off the restart and Ramm is there. Saints come forwards before Sleightholme hacks through. Russell is there and he clears to touch. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Hutchinson sends the ball high from the restart and Bath return it. Cokanasiga gets underneath it and there's a penalty for Bath there too as Saints go off their feet. Russell puts the ball into the corner. 

Russell gets us restarted here at the Rec. 

Hutchinson puts the resulting penalty into the corner once more for another lineout there.

Another penalty coming for Saints as they push closer and we come back for this one too. Iyogun taps it quickly again and Saints are back up to the five metre line. 

Penalty coming for Saints as Bath illegally join the maul and eventually we come back for it, with Iyogun tapping it quickly to get us restarted. 

Ludlam taps the ball down to Scott-Young at the lineout and Saints come forwards. There's a penalty there as Bath go off their feet at the ruck and Hutchinson puts the ball back into the corner.

Saints get the ball out to Sleightholme and Seabrook quickly, with the latter chipping for Ramm to chase. But Muir gets there first and clear to touch. Lineout Bath on their own 22. 

Millar Mills steals the ball on the ground as Bath push on the five metre line. And Saints earn a penalty there too as Bath tackle high. Hutchinson puts the ball into touch for a lineout.

Saints defend hard at the maul but the penalty goes Bath's way as it collapses and Russell puts the ball into the corner for another Bath lineout. 

Ramm rises highest as Bath send the restart back Saints' way. But Hutchinson's kick over the top heads straight out and Bath have the lineout. 

Hill comes forwards off the lineout but Saints are found offside as he takes contact and Russell points to the posts. 

Saints peel forwards down the left but Bath get over the ball as they reach the halfway line and earn the penalty there. Redpath puts the ball into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22. 

Saints defence bears fruit as Bath knock the ball on on the ground just outside Saints' 22 and Saints will have the put in at the scrum for their efforts. 

Bath send it short and Saints gather it but Du Toit gets over the ball to earn Bath the penalty. Lineout Bath back in Saints' half. 

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Millar Mills barrels forwards off it, but he's held up over the tryline. 22 drop out to Bath to restart.

Millar Mills strips the ball in a tackle and Litchfield is almost through. But the centre's offload goes forwards and Bath play on. Redpath boots the ball high and Sleightholme is there but the winger's clearing kick heads straight out. Lineout Bath just outside Saints' 22. 

James sends the ball high and Saints get back under it again. Ramm breaks over the halfway line. Hutchinson sends the crossfield kick over to Sleightholme but the winger taps it down into Lawrence's hands. Bath play on on the hallway line.

Bath push forwards from the restart, Redpath chips over the top and gather himself but Graham gets over the ball there to earn Saints the penalty. Hutchinson puts it into touch for a lineout. 

Saints get up for the lineout but Hill pushes Saints over the tryline and we'll restart with a Bath scrum on Saints' five metre line.

Bath get the ball out of the scrum quickly, whipping the ball wide before Lawrence puts the ball on his boot for Muir to chase. The ball beats the winger into touch though and Saints will have the lineout on the five metre line. 

Hutchinson clears off the back of the lineout but Bath return it Saints' way immediately, but Ramm's clearing kick heads over the deadball line and we come all the way back for a Bath scrum in Saints' half. 

Not straight at the lineout from Bath and Saints will have the scrum. 

Bath's wingers try to get over the gainline but Saints' defence keeps them out and Muir's kick heads into touch of James' legs. Lineout Bath.

Spencer sends the kick-off high after Dunn's push forwards hits Saints' defence. Ramm is there to gather and Saints play on halfway before James returns the ball Bath's way. Cokanasiga is there and Bath play on themselves.
