Bath Rugby vs Northampton Saints

Saints slow Bath's progress there but the home side still push.

Bath try to maul forwards but Saints hold firm and the home side are forced to use it. They whip it wide right and get up to Saints' 22 now.

Penalty Bath at the scrum as it comes down. and Worboys sends it to touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Saints peel forwards into Bath's 22, with Hendy getting them there. But his offload finds Bath hands. Carr-Smith tries to box but he's charged down. Bath manage to regather and Carr-Smith tries again. This one he gets away but Saints can't keep hold of the high ball as it comes down and Bath will have the scrum. 

Collins claims the restart and Saints come forwards before James  boxes. But Saints are found offside and Worboys points to the posts with the penalty. 

Augustus is up for the lineout and Saints earn a penalty there too. Furbank puts it into the corner for another lineout.

Lithcifeld replaces Proctor as we set the lineout.

Schreuder clears from the restart and Saints come forwards. They earn a penalty at the breakdown too and Furbank puts it into touch for a lineout. 

Schreuder finds touch with his clearing kick from the restart and Saints have the lineout.

Moon, James and Hendy enter play as we restart, with Ribbans, Mitchell and Grayson making way.

Another advantage coming for Bath at the maul as they creep forwards. Eventually we come back for it and Worboys points to the posts.

Bath get the ball wide off the lineout but we come back for another advantage from the lineout. Worboys puts it into the corner.

Saints whip the ball wide quickly and Slieghtholme gets things into Bath's 22 but the penalty goes Bath's way at the breakdown and Gallagher clears to touch. Lineout Bath.

Another good shove from Saints but Bath manage to clear to touch. Lineout Saints just outside their 22 now. 

Graham replaces Ludlam as we set the scrum. 

Ludlam gets over the ball to earn Saints a penalty off the back of the scrum and Mitchell takes it quickly. Saints are up to the five metre line quickly but the referee deems an offload there forwards and Bath will have the scrum. 

Petch replaces Hill too as we set the scrum to restart.

Mitchell boots the ball downfield long and Bath gather. Schreuder goes to clear but there's a head knock for Dunn and we pause the game while the substitution is made.

Scrappy at the lineout as Saints defend hard and Schreuder boxes high again Furbank is under it again and Saints play on.

Another good shove from Saints and Bath clear long. Furbank is back the3re and he finds touch for a Bath lineout on halfway.

Saints come forwards quickly again but there's a knock on just as they reach the Bath 22 and the home side will have the scrum.

Mitchell sends the ball downfield and Worboys returns it to touch. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Augustus charges forwards off the restart before Grayson boots it downfield. Gallher is there and he sends the ball high. Grayson gets back under it and Saints play on.

Iyogun jumps on an overthrown lineout and Saints play on. There's an advantage coming for Saints and Mitchell takes it quickly.

Good shove again from Saints but Bath manage to keep hold of it. Schreuder boxes high again and Furbank is under it. Saints peel forwards into Bath's half quick but the last pass heads into touch as they reach Bath's 22 and the home side will have the lineout. 

Worboys sends a cross field over to Butt but finds touch instead. Saints try to take the lineout quickly but are pinged for not throwing it five metres. Scrum Bath.

Waller is replaced by Iyogun as we restart.

Worboys sends his kick wide though and Saints have the 22 drop out to restart. 

Saints get over the ball off the back of the lineout but the penalty goes Bath's way as Saints fail to roll. Worboys points to the posts.

Bath try to work into Saints' 22 but the away side push them back and Schreuder clears. Furbank calls for the mark under the high ball and clears well. Lineout Bath on halfway.

Saints regather the kick-off and play on in Bath's 22 now.

Grayson gets us restarted here at the Rec.

Ludlam is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards, they think they've scored through Sleightholme but a trip to the TMO chalks it off for a slight knock on in the build up. Scrum Bath.

Schreuder boxes high off the restart and Furbank is under it. Saints earn the penalty there and Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Advantage coming for Bath as Saints push early at the lineout and they maul forwards again before getting it into the midfield. We come back for it and a Bath lineout in the corner eventually. 

Bath maul forwards and have an advantage coming as they creep into Saints' 22. We come back for it when Waller intercepts a stray Bath pass and Worboys puts it into the corner.

Saints maul forwards from the lineout but Bath manage to hold it up and will have the put in at the scrum. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards again. Advantage coming for Saints as Bath tackle too high. Grayson puts it back into the corner when we come back for it.

Schreuder clears off the lineout and Saints play on. There's a penalty advantage coming for Saints as Bath tackle off the ball. Grayson puts it into the corner. 

Saints come wide right off the lineout and Collins makes it into Bath's 22. But the home side get over the ball there and Worboys sends ti to touch for a lineout on halfway.

Schreuder boxes high from the restart and finds touch. Lineout Saints on Bath's ten metre line.

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints come forwards but the ball comes loose in the midfield and Bath play on.

Solid at the scrum and Bath clear to touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway. 

Saints maul forwards again but it's halted this time and Bath earn the scrum put in.

Another penalty for Saints as the maul collapses illegally and Grayson puts it back into the corner. 

Penalty Saints at the breakdown again and Grayson puts this one into the corner. 

Bath go off their feet at the ruck as Saints work into their half and Grayson puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout on Bath's 22. 

Augustus comes forwards on the restart but Grayson's high kick finds Bath hands. Saints pressure well in defence through and Schreuder boxes high. Collins gets under it and Saints play on.

Just left of the posts with the kick from Grayson and Bath have the 22 drop out to restart.

Advantage coming for Saints from the scrum and we come back for the penalty. Grayson points to the posts. 

Mitchell chips over the top off the lineout and Bath return it Saints' way. But the ball heads over the deadball line and we come all the way back for a scrum inside Bath's half. 

Schreuder sends the ball high off the maul but Collins calls for the mark as he gets underneath it. Aerial tennis ensues on the restart and it's Butt who sends it to touch for a Saints lineout. 

Saints come quickly left off the scrum, finding Collins out there but the winger is isolated and Bath are awarded a penalty. Worboys puts it into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Solid at the scrum this time and Bath are forced to use it. But they knock the ball forwards as there come left and Saints have this scrum.

Free kick Bath at the scrum as Saints push early and Bath choose to scrum again.

Saint peel forwards but knock the ball on in contact and Bath have the scrum.

Bath maul forwards before getting the ball out into the midfield. There Waller gets over the ball to earn Saints a penalty and Grayson puts it into touch for a Saints lineout on halfway. 

Dingwall claims the kick-off but Mitchell's clearing kick is carried straight out and we come back for a Bath penalty just outside Saints' 22.
