Tickets are now on sale for Loughborough Lightning’s Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby clash with Gloucester-Hartpury, on Sunday 12 May (kick-off: 3.00pm).
The match will be Lightning’s first league match in nine weeks, following on from the Allianz Cup two-legged fifth-place playoff with Sale Sharks on 13 and 27 April, as their run-in to the end of the season gets underway.
Nathan Smith’s side pushed the runaway league leaders in January’s reverse fixture, securing a try-scoring bonus point in a 42-24 loss at the ALPAS Arena. The reigning champions have won all 13 of their league games so far, all but one with a bonus point to open a 14-point lead at the top of the table.
Lightning are currently fifth in the table and have a four-point buffer on both Trailfinders Women and Harlequins with four rounds of the season remaining.
