Five Lightning players named in Scotland Women’s extended Six Nations squad

Five Loughborough Lightning players have been named in Scotland Women’s extended training squad for the Six Nations.

Christine Belisle, Rachel Malcolm, Emma Wassell, Helen Nelson and Chloe Rollie have all been included in the 34-player group.

All five players were involved in Scotland’s WXV 2 success last Autumn which saw them defeat hosts South Africa, Japan and Italy to stretch their winning run to six games.

Scotland’s Six Nations campaign begins on Saturday 23 March away to Wales. Back-to-back home games at Hive Stadium in Edinburgh follow against France (30 March) and England (13 April). They conclude their campaign with trips to Italy (20 April) and Ireland (27 April).
