Who has been the single most important person in your rugby career so far and why? My big brother Henry. He is severely autistic and has learning difficulties, but he also plays rugby. I love what this sport has been able to provide for my whole family. For my parents, it's a bit of rest-bite. For my brother, it's an opportunity to live a “normal” lifestyle of a young man in their early 20s. And for me, it's something I want to make a career out of. My brother playing rugby, reminds me always of why I've stuck at rugby, and commit so much time. He plays purely because he enjoys playing rugby and he enjoys being able to be with his friends, and socialise after the game. It's always a reminder to me that, that is exactly why I started, and I always need to try to enjoy each day as it comes as a rugby player

What has been your biggest rugby achievement to date? Achieving my first cap for the Red Roses in New Zealand

What does rugby mean to you? Rugby is a sport that can be used to bring so many different types of people together. So many different versions of the game that have been adapted to make it accessible to so many people. I love how this game can bring people together, to have fun, to build relationships, and to also go through some hard times and come out the other side tigether

What do you typically eat on a matchday? I start with bagels and scrambled eggs, with a dash of franks hot sauce. Then I usually have a bagel with jam as a snack a few hours later. Then for lunch I have some sort of pesto pasta. And then pre game, a few sweets. And constantly drinking water all morning
