The Saints Under-18s rounded off a good week in Dublin with a second win, this time over Leinster Clubs.
Against Leinster Schools on Monday the Saints had had to battle back from a deficit to snatch a late victory. But against the clubs they took the initiative in the first half, winger Faysal Olabooye going over for two tries.
All Leinster could do in reply was a solitary three-pointer, and while they did come back in the second half to score a converted try themselves it was too late as by then prop Josia Wacokecoke had crossed for a third Saints try.
The win makes it three from three for the Under-18s, who round off their summer programme of matches at Franklin’s Gardens on Wednesday, August 24th. Newport-Gwent Dragons are the visitors, with the game kicking off at 2:00pm.
