Thirteen clubs will be represented at the Gardens, between them making up 20 teams across four age groups between Under-7 and Under-10.
Northern, Barkers Butts, Leicester Forest, Silhillians, Old Albanians, Towcestrians, Rosslyn Park, Roundhegians, Sheffield, Rochdale, Chester, Winchester and Supermarine will all be sending teams to Northampton, having earned their place by winning their respective regional tournaments.
And as well as playing at the home of the reigning Premiership champions, the overall winners from each age group will have their trophies and medals presented on the main Franklin’s Gardens pitch during the half-time interval of the LV= Cup final.
With over 2,000 players participating in the competition, the Lexus Rugby Tournament provides the opportunity for the stars of the future to showcase their skills, and Scott Bassage from Lexus is looking forward to a memorable day in the East Midlands.
“Lexus are delighted to be hosting the National Final at Northampton Saints,” he said. “The club is steeped in history and for the players competing at the home of the reigning Premiership champions, it is certainly going to be a memorable occasion for all.”
The Lexus Rugby Tournament provides the curtain raiser for the season’s first showpiece occasion, the 2014/15 LV= Cup. Tickets are on general sale now, with adult prices starting at £20 and junior and concession tickets at £10 and £15 respectively throughout the stadium.
