Jog for James is an annual run or walk – this year on Saturday, July 18th - in memory of James Kouzaris, the Northamptonshire man who was tragically shot dead in Florida four years ago while on holiday with friend James Cooper.
Always A Chance, subsequently set up in the memory of the two, funds initiatives to encourage young people who are outside full time education and employment to re-engage with the education system or supports them as they take their first steps into employment.
Most recently, this has included backing of the Saints HITZ programme, with commitment to two years supporting the youngsters’ development at Franklin’s Gardens.
The link between Always A Chance and the Saints has also led to seasoned marathon runner Bernie the Dog donning his running trainers once more to launch the event and you can join him!
Entry for the event is £15 for adults or £5 for students, with all proceeds helping AAC support victims of violent crime, their families and associated projects.
10km or 2km routes are available for both joggers and walkers - find out more at www.alwaysachance.org.uk or download an entry form HERE
