Northampton Saints are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to sponsor a Barbarian F.C. player, when the men in Black, Green and Gold take on the world-famous invitational side at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens later this summer.
Saints face the Baabaas on Saturday 2 September for only the second time in the Club’s history, after first locking horns last season in what was a fantastically entertaining game – with Northampton edging the contest 45-39.
This time around, a large number of international players on Rugby World Cup standby are expected to feature in the infamous Black and White hoops, with the Barbarians also set to be led by Australian coaching quartet Jason Gilmore, Laurie Fisher, Berrick Barnes, and Nathan Grey.
The entire Barbarian F.C. squad and coaching team are now available to sponsor, with the package including an intimate behind-the-scenes view of life as a Barbarian, and an invite to a special luncheon held the day before the match (Friday 1 September).
Sponsoring a Barbarian provides the perfect platform to promote your business at what is set to be an unmissable afternoon of rugby, while also networking with other local and national companies.
The Luncheon event will take place at the Gardens. After welcome refreshments in the Captain’s Bar, you will make your way over to the hallowed turf for an up-close look at the Barbarians’ final preparations ahead of the big clash during the side’s Captain’s Run.
After training has finished, the Rodber Suite will be open for lunch, where you will be offered a glass of fizz before being served a delicious, locally-sourced two-course menu, alongside your sponsored player/coach.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the afternoon on stage, while the entire Barbarians squad and coaching team will be in attendance to mingle with guests and raise a glass ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster fixture.
