It is the first home game of the season this Saturday, so it’s worth reminding supporters of some of the changes that have happened at Franklin’s Gardens and some new additions to the match day experience!
MATCH DAY TIMES AND WHAT'S ON This year we have put a special page on the club’s website with all your match day timings. CLICK HERE to see it!
MATCH DAY VILLAGE This has been expanded by around 600 sq metres – almost doubling the size from last season – to create space for more food and drink choices, and more space for supporters to relax, too.
We’ll be showing the day’s early game (Bath v Saracens) on the Village big screen from 2pm, and will have a live chat with one of the club’s international players at 4pm.
Younger supporters can also collect their Bernie’s Gang packs from the community tent, next to the Saints Study Centre.
FAN RADIO Back for 2017/18, the Fan Radios will be in operation this Saturday with both the referee’s decisions as they happen as well as match commentary.
Fan Radios will be available in the main Saints Store, in the Village Store and at a selling point by the turnstiles opposite the Saints Ticket Office. They cost £14.99, but Season Ticket Holders can pick them up for £5 just by showing your Season Card at the point of purchase!
Even better, your Fan Radio can be used both home and away at all Aviva Premiership matches.
WIN WITH KUBOTA Our friends at Kubota, who are Saturday's match sponsor, are giving young supporters the chance to win a signed shirt. All you have to do is pick up a high-vis jacket from the Kubota diggers in the Village and then wear it at half-time, so we can find you with the big screen camera! If you are picked out of the crowd then you win the signed shirt!
GENERAL INFORMATION The club’s official car parks will be open as usual, with traffic management in operation after the match. Should supporters choose not to use the club’s official car parks then they must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents and businesses – help us be a good neighbour!
Entry before 2:30pm will be via Gates 2 and 3 into the Village only. After 2:30pm all four sets of turnstiles will be open.
There are some specific details for this match only, too, namely:
The Wanderers’ Premiership Rugby ‘A’ League match against Leicester kicks off at 7:00pm, approx. 40 minutes after the end of the Saints game. There will be NO re-admission for this game, and NO admission solely for this game. Smoking areas will be open outside the Rodber Suite and in the Village.
Due to the Wanderers game all autographs will have to be sought in the corner by the lake between the Church’s Stand and Elite Insurance Stand.
Food and drink outlets in the Village will be open until 7:00pm at the earliest. The Saints Store remains open until 7:30pm and the Village Store will remain open until the end of half-time in the Wanderers game.
