Northampton Saints Under-18s travel to Sale Sharks in search of a third straight victory on Saturday 25 January (kick-off: 1pm).
The rearranged Round 1 Premiership Rugby Under-18 Academy League fixture comes after the young Saints secured Northern Conference victories at home against Yorkshire (53-26) and away at Newcastle Falcons (12-40) last time out.
Head coach Charlie Reed has made two changes to his starting line-up for the trip to Manchester, as Charlie Tamani is promoted from the bench and onto the left wing, while Harry Price packs down at openside flanker.
There’s three changes among the replacements as Seth Roberts and Freddie St John come in, along with Sonny Goode – who was man-of-the-match for the Under-17s in their victory against Newcastle Falcons last weekend.
Saints Under-18s continue to operate without Edoardo Todaro, who has been called up by Italy Under-20s ahead of the Six Nations Championship.
Reed said: “We know what Sale will bring. We understand the physical side of their game. I think it's been six or seven years since since we got ourselves a result up there, so there‘s another great opportunity for us to see how the lads have developed playing away from home.
“We went up to Newcastle and adjusted well. I thought it was really good how we still tried to play our game of rugby and that's what we intend to do when we get up to Manchester.”
