Northampton Saints today announce that Tony Davison has been appointed as the Club’s new Commercial Director.
Reporting to Chief Executive Mark Darbon, the new appointment comes as the Club continues to step-up its commercial ambitions and increase revenues at Franklin’s Gardens.

Davison joins from Sunderland Football Club where he was Managing Director. During his time at the League One outfit, Davison was responsible for the Club’s business operations, including developing and implementing its long-term commercial strategies and sales functions.
Prior to working at Sunderland, Davison has held senior commercial roles at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, Oxford United Football Club, Lagardère and IMG.

“We are in the middle of a five-year strategic plan to bring the Club back to profitability and Tony will play a key role in realising this ambition.
