This Saturday the Saints are heading to stadiummk for The Big Kick Off against Newcastle! It’s not the first time that the Saints have played in Milton Keynes, but it is always worth familiarising yourself with travel arrangements.
SUPPORTER COACHES
Coaches (for coach ticket holders only) will begin leaving Franklin’s Gardens at 10:30am on Saturday morning. The last coach will leave Northampton at approx. 12noon, but do not leave it that late! Supporter car parking will be in Car Park D, off Edgar Mobbs Way.
Coaches will begin returning immediately after the end of the Saints game, and will continue to leave until everyone has left the Arena Match Day Village at the end of the Rugby World Cup semi-final. Coaches will be leaving on a ‘load and go’ basis, so do not leave any personal belongings on board!
No more coach tickets can be booked, so unless you have a ticket then please do not arrive at Franklin’s Gardens expecting to travel. If you have not yet received your coach ticket email [email protected]
ON-SITE CAR PARKING
stadiummk car parks will only be available to supporters who have a car parking pass. Season Car Park Pass Holders at Franklin’s Gardens should by now have received their pass for stadiummk. If you have not yet received your pass email [email protected]
Car parking passes have now SOLD OUT.
Supporters can be dropped off outside the hotel reception, with further drop-off points for disabled supporters outside Gates 2, 4 and 7. Please note that all traffic in the stadiummk car parks will be held for up to 30 minutes after the game to allow pedestrians to leave safely.
OFF-SITE CAR PARKING
Car parks of MK1 Retail and Leisure, along with all other retails areas on the stadiummk site (i.e. Asda and Ikea) are for vehicles using those facilities only, and will be stewarded on the day.
Supporters can note that the road closures imposed for April’s Rugby World Cup test event will NOT be in place for Saturday’s game, but that if you intend to park in one of the industrial areas surrounding the stadium then please do so considerately, and avoid locations signed as privately owned.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Central Milton Keynes train station is served by Virgin Trains and London Midland, and a number of scheduled bus services run between the train station and stadiummk. These include services run by Arriva (numbers 1, 5, 6, 70, F70) and Vale Travel (services 24, 25); more information is available at www.arrivabus.co.uk/south-east/places/MK
