The Premiership Rugby Cup Final clash between Northampton Saints and Saracens isn't the only rugby on at Franklin's Gardens this Sunday (17 March), Saints' Mixed Ability Rugby partner club Northampton Heathens Hellhounds will be hosting their Saracens' counterparts before the main action gets underway.
Working alongside Northampton Heathens Hellhounds since September, Saints’ community team have been helping to develop a mixed ability rugby side in Northamptonshire, in conjunction with Premiership Rugby's Project Rugby campaign.
The second event in the Mixed Ability Rugby programme to be held at Franklin's Gardens, since the Heathens faced Bradford Bumbles back in December, this weekend will see the Heathens line up against Saracens' Mixed Ability Rugby team on the back pitches at Franklin's Gardens.
Kicking-off at 1pm on Sunday, you can come along and get a real taste of the sport and see how you could get involved with Saints and the Heathens. Everyone is welcome to watch the fixture completely free of charge.
Saints' Mixed Ability Rugby programme is completely inclusive for players of all abilities, with all players training and playing together; the programme is about giving everyone the opportunity to train and play rugby.
