Supporters heading to Franklin’s Gardens will have more choice for their car parking from this Friday onwards.
Following discussions between the Saints, Northampton Town FC and the relevant authorities, it has been decided that on non-clash days the Sixfields North car park will be opened for supporters who are heading to that day’s game at Franklin’s Gardens.
This new car park is between 10Pin and the Sixfields Recycling Centre, an approximate 5-10 minute walk from Franklin’s Gardens.
As with the Saints’ official car parks on Edgar Mobbs Way entry will be £5 per car, payable on the gate.
This agreement has been reached to try and alleviate parking on residential side streets on match days.
Should supporters choose to not use either the Sixfields North car park or the Saints’ official car parks then they must park with due care and respect for the needs of local residents in the area surrounding Franklin’s Gardens.
Season Ticket Holders can still make the most of the half-price match day travel to Northampton on London Midland trains. Just show your Season Card at any manned ticket office at stations between Rugby and Leighton Buzzard to claim your discount!
Bernie’s Gang packs remain available for collection this Friday night between 5pm and 7:45pm from the community tent in the Supporter Village, or on Saturday, September 30th before the Harlequins game. All Junior Season Ticket Holders are automatically members of Bernie’s Gang.
All junior ticket holders for Friday night’s game (including Junior Season Ticket Holders) are also being entered into a draw to be either a member of the guard of honour or a holder of the on-pitch big shirt that will welcome the teams out ahead of kick off.
There is nothing needed to enter this competition as the winners will be drawn out from the list of everyone who has a ticket for the game. Book before 3pm on Thursday afternoon to be in the hat!
