The international star pairing of Dylan Hartley and Louis Picamoles have been revealed as guest coaches for the Legends Weekend residential camp at Stowe School being run by Northampton Saints in 2025.
Held at Stowe on Saturday 2 August and Sunday 3 August 2025, the Legends Weekend each year welcomes some heroes from the past who have worn the Black, Green and Gold with distinction.
The two-day residential course is for Under-13 to Under-17 boys, and campers will have the opportunity to meet, dine with, and be coached by some of the Saints’ greatest-ever players.
The Club legends spend the weekend enhancing camp attendees’ rugby through their own experiences, with previous guest coaches including Alex Waller, Lee Dickson, Stephen Myler, Tom Wood, Luther Burrell, Soane Tonga’uiha, and Jamie Elliott.
Costing £219* at the special Early Bird rate, the course includes:
- Two days bed and board at Stowe School – with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
- 10+ hours coaching from Dylan Hartley and Louis Picamoles (who will be joined by more Saints Legends soon to be announced) and Northampton Saints’ community coaching staff.

GUEST COACHES: DYLAN HARTLEY & LOUIS PICAMOLES
Hartley (#1808) made his senior debut in 2005 and went on to make 251 appearances for his Club and 97 for England – 30 of which were as captain.
In 2009 at just 23 years old, Hartley became the youngest Premiership skipper and his first six-year stint leading the side was not only the longest in Northampton’s 130-year history, but also heralded Saints’ most-successful ever period.
Under the hooker’s leadership, the men in Black, Green and Gold embarked on an incredible run that saw them win the Premiership title, two European Challenge Cups, and an Anglo-Welsh Cup to boot – not to mention reaching separate Premiership and Heineken Cup finals.
Former France international Picamoles (#1967) joined Saints in 2016, helping to secure a place in Europe’s top competition on his final appearance against Stade Francais in a European Champions Cup play-off victory.
The former Toulouse No.8’s three-year deal at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens was cut short when Montpellier paid a significant transfer fee to see him return to France. But the Frenchman, capped 82 times by Les Bleus, still left a lasting impression on supporters with his powerful ball carrying and offloading ability. Picamoles finished his playing career with two years in Bordeaux, announcing his retirement in 2022.
