This weekend, all Aviva Premiership matches, including the Saints game against Exeter Chiefs, will be dedicated to Restart Rugby, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association. Together were aiming to raise £10,000 to help current and former players suffering from serious injury, illness or hardship.
We’re also raising awareness for the #LiftTheWeight campaign which addresses mental health issues amongst our players. 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health issue each year. Rugby players are no exception. Restart Rugby supports players and their families during their most difficult times through a 24/7 counselling service.
