Northampton Saints’ James Ramm has been named the cinch Player of the Month for December, with the wing coming out on top of the hotly-contested vote for a series of stellar performances in Black, Green and Gold throughout the month.
Northampton’s three outings across December – where Saints faced Gloucester Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership, and Stade Rochelais and Munster Rugby in the Heineken Champions Cup – were taken into account, and it was 24-year-old Ramm who topped the voting to edge out fellow nominees George Furbank, David Ribbans and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto and claim his first gong in Black, Green and Gold.

The Australian winger shone in Northampton’s back three, scoring his first Premiership and Champions Cup tries while also beating nine defenders across December – with his league effort nominated for Premiership Try of the Month.
Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month’s winner was Ruth Wilson, who was selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted on the cinch Player of the Month award to win £50 worth of Saints Store vouchers.
