George Furbank has been named the cinch Player of the Month for November, with the fullback’s impressive performances in Northampton Saints’ four matches that month seeing him claim almost 50% of the supporter vote.
Northampton rose up the Gallagher Premiership table in November, claiming three important home wins against Bath Rugby (24-18), Exeter Chiefs (34-19) and Harlequins (36-33) – with a disappointing loss at rivals Leicester Tigers (26-17) the only blemish on their scorecard.
And it was the 27-year-old who came out on top of the tight supporter vote to take home the award as he edged out fellow nominees George Hendy, Curtis Langdon and Tom Pearson.
Furbank featured in three of Saints’ four outings, with a stellar showing at fly-half against Quins – which included an 11-point haul from the tee and a Player of the Match award – capping off an impressive month on the field.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month, one lucky supporter was chosen from those who voted and entered the prize draw through the Saints Rewards portal to present the award to the winner, with Alison Parker selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted to deliver the trophy to Furbank and collect a shirt signed by the fullback.
