The Saints returned to Franklin’s Gardens for the start of their pre-season preparations on Monday morning with May’s Twickenham triumph swiftly moved to the back of their minds.
"Being champions is a new position for us to be in but the culture we have means there's no chance of complacency or taking our foot off the pedal,” Corbisiero said. “It was great to win a first championship but we can’t afford to let off if we want to build on that success.
"It's such a competitive league – there are so many teams that have a realistic chance of winning it.
"After winning the Premiership and the Amlin (Challenge Cup) last year, we want to win the European Rugby Champions Cup and trying to get our name on that trophy as well as defending our league title is going to drive everyone.
"It should be an exciting year for the club."
