Vote now for your cinch Player of the Month for October and win!

Voting for the cinch Player of the Month award for October is open, with supporters able to choose the Saints they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch across the month.

The competition will remain open until Monday 11 November, when the winning player will be announced by Northampton Saints and cinch.

Throughout the season, cinch are also offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes. For October, one lucky winner will receive a Saints ball signed by the winner of October’s vote!

Saints’ results in October were a mixed bag, with the men in Black, Green and Gold securing two home victories against Harlequins (33-29) and Sale Sharks (47-17). But those wins sandwiched tough losses on the road – first at Leicester Tigers (24-8) and then with a young Saints squad at Bristol Bears (31-23).

With those clashes in mind, Saints’ coaches have selected four nominees for the monthly award; Rory Hutchinson, Josh Kemeny, Tom Pearson, Henry Pollock and James Ramm

Centre Hutchinson – who claimed the cinch Player of the Month award last month – continued his impressive run of form in October, firing on all cylinders in attack while also making 37 tackles and four turnovers in Saints’ four clashes.

Saints newcomer Kemeny carried on his sterling start to his time in Black, Green and Gold, impressing on both sides of the ball to make some 37 tackles across the four clashes while also hitting some 71 attacking rucks in his four appearances.

The rest of Saints’ back row was also on form in October, with Pearson making 51 tackles across his four outings and hitting 49 attacking rucks too while 19-year-old Pollock’s abrasive attack put the flanker centre stage – making 37 carries across his four appearances.

Finally, winger Ramm shone throughout October – scoring twice (against Sale and Bristol) while making 24 carries across his four outings last month.
