Leinster vs Northampton Saints

Litchfield replaces Ramm as we set the lineout. 

Saints work hard but eventually Leinster manage to get over the ball and earn the penalty. Byrne puts the ball into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Saints defence holds firm as Leinster try to push towards the 22 and eventually the rewards comes as Scott-Young scoops up lose ball. Matavesi gets play almost up to Leinster's 22 as Saints come back at Leinster. There Saints play on.

Augustus comes forwards on the restart before James sends the high ball up. Frawley is there but solid defence from Saints pushes Leinster back over the halfway line. Byrne sends the high ball up and Leinster manage to get the ball back when it comes down. They play on just inside Saints' half. 

Penalty coming for Saints at the scrum and when Smith's crossfield kick to Ramm comes to nothing we come back for it. Saints tap and go quickly and are up to the five metre line again. 

Scrappy at the lineout and Leinster clear. But Ramm is back there and he sends a looping pass over to Freeman out wide. The centre hacks forwards and chases himself. Gibson-Park gets there first but he carries the ball over the tryline. Scrum Saints on the five metre line. 

Leinster are found offside at the lineout and Smith puts the ball into touch for a lineout just outside Leinster's 22. 

James send the box kick up and Gibson-Park gathers the bouncing ball on halfway. The side exchange kicks before Byrne finds touch for a Saints lineout on halfway. 

Mayanavanua, James and Seabrook replace Moon, Mitchell and Hendy as we set the scrum. 

Mitchell sends the ball high again and though Lowe is there, Smith hits him hard. Osbourne hacks through for Henshaw to gather but the centre knocks the ball forwards and Saints will have the scrum. 

Saints turn the ball over as Leinster make it into Saints' 22. Mitchell clears long and Leinster get back to take it. Gibson-Park sends it high again and Saints play on.

Lawes almost disrupts at the lineout but Leinster manage to gather. Gibson-Park sends the box kick high. It hangs in the air and Leinster manage to regather. The scrum-half has another go and Mitchell takes this one before clearing the ball himself. Leinster gather and play on again.

Graham is replaced by Scott-Young as we set the lineout. 

Saint come forwards off the lineout but Leinster get over the ball to earn the penalty as Saints get over the 22 line. Byrne puts the ball into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Lawes gets over the ball and earn Saints a penalty on the restart. Smith sends the ball into touch for a lineout.

Byrne sends the kick wide and Saints have the 22 drop out to restart.

Leinster come forwards and though Lawes gets over the ball, Saints are penalised for not releasing. Byrne points to the posts. 

Augustus takes the restart and barrels forwards before Mitchell clears to touch. Lineout Leinster on halfway. 

Matavesi and Millar Mills replace Langdon and Davison as we set the lineout. 

Saints push at the scrum but Leinster are awarded the penalty there and Byrne puts the ball into touch for a lineout. 

Leinster steal the lineout but Saints work hard in defence and hold the home side up off the back of it. Scrum Saints on Leinster's five metre line. 

Saints come forwards at the lineout, with Augustus breaking through. He chips through and though Frawley is there, Ramm pushes him tint touch. Lineout Saints on Leinster's five metre line.

Iyogun replaces Waller as we set the lineout. 

Leinster push at Saints but the away side's defence holds firm and Furbank eventually pushes Osbourne into touch. Lineout Saints just outside their own 22. 

Leinster come forwards of the lineout before the high ball goes up. Smith marks the kick and finds touch but Leinster take the lineout quickly and play on. 

Saints come forwards through Augustus and Freeman and make it up to the five metre line. But Leinster get over the ball there and Byrne puts the ball into touch for a lineout. 

Free kick Leinster as Saints push early and Osborne sends the ball Saints' way. Saints come forwards before Smith sends the chip over the top. Byrne is there and he returns it to Saints where there's a penalty for the away side as Leinster come in at the side. Smith puts the ball into the corner. 

Coles is up for the lineout and Freeman comes forwards. But Leinster disrupt at the breakdown and there's a knock on from Saints in a tackle. Scrum Leinster inside their own 22. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum as it wheels and Smith puts the ball into the corner for a lineout there. 

Knock on Leinster at the lineout and Saints will have the put in at the scrum. 

Byrne sends his conversion wide though and Henshaw finds touch on the restart. Lineout Saints just inside Leinster's half. 

Leinster send the ball back Saints' way and Mitchell sends the box kick up again. Frawley is there and Leinster play on. Doris breaks through Saints' line and Leinster are up to Saints' 22 quickly. 

Mitchell sends the box kick up from the restart an finds touch well. Lineout Leinster back on halfway.

Byrne gets us restarted here at Croke Park.

Frawley takes play deeper into Saints' 22 but the Northampton defence holds firm and when the turn over everntually comes, Smith sends the ball into the stands to end the half. 

Just enough time for the restart and Leinster get up to tap it back to their side. Van Der Flier comes forwards and gets play up to the 22. 

Lawes is up for the lineout and Saints have a penalty coming as Leinster fail to roll away. Saints whip the ball wide but when Ramm can't quite gather Furbank's offload out wide we come back for the penalty. Smith points to the posts. 

Over the top to Dingwall at the lineout and Saints push up to the 22 again. Smith sends the ball through for Freeman to chase but Leinster just get there first and Larmour finds touch. Lineout Saints just outside Leinster's 22. 

Saints push up through Graham and Augustus before Smith sends a grubber through for Ramm. Lowe is there and he clears to touch. Lineout Saints. 

Penalty Saints at the scrum and Smith puts the ball into touch again for a lineout just outside Leinster's 22. 

Saints make good ground off the lineout and Mitchell sends the box kick up for Freeman to chase. Lowe just gets there first but Leinster knock the high ball on after Gibson-Park sends up a box kick of his own. Scrum Saints on halfway. 

Sheehan goes down the shoreside off the lineout and gets Leinster up to the five metre line. But Lawes gets over the ball there and earns Saints the penalty. Smith puts the ball into touch for a lineout back near halfway. 

Penalty Leinster as the scrum wheels and Byrne puts the ball into the corner for a Leinster lineout there. 

Saints are pinged for being in front of the kicker at the restart and Leinster have the scrum on halfway. 

Penalty Leinster at the scrum as it collapses though and Byrne points to the posts. 

Saints halt Leinster's maul and force the knock on just off it with their defence too. Scrum Saints inside their own 22. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum and Mitchell takes it quickly. Saints push forwards but Leinster get over the ball to earn a penalty and Byrne puts the ball into touch for a lineout in Saints' 22. 

Overthrown lineout from Saints but Dingwall is there to gather. He almost puts Hendy through a gap but the winger can't quite take the ball. Scrum Leinster. 

Big defensive set from Saints and Leinster knock the ball on, Mitchell sends the ball back to Smith and he boots the ball downfield. Frawley is there and he finds touch. Lineout Saints on halfway. 

Saints steal the ball off the lineout and Augsust comes forwards but he loses the ball in contact and Leinster play on themselves. 

Leinster earn a penalty as the whip the ball wide when Saints are found offside at the ruck. Byrne puts the ball into the corner. 

Solid at the scrum and Leinster use the ball. They push up to the halfway line before Gibson-Park sends the box kick. Ramm is there and he returns it, Frawley sends a spiral bomb Saints' way but Furbank takes it well and finds touch. Lineout Leinster on halfway. 

Byrne's conversion comes off the left upright and the fly-half sends the ball back Saints' way on the restart. Mitchell return with a box kick of his own. The sides exchange kicks before Furbank takes the space and runs up to Leinster's line on halfway. He finds Freeman, who in turn finds Ramm outside him. But the ball comes forwards as Ramm hits contact and Leinster will have the scrum.

Gibson-Park sends the high kick up and Furbank is under it. Saints play on on the halfway line. There's an intercepted pass by Byrne though and he races into Saints' 22 before he's taken. Saints get back to defend but there's a penalty against them for high tackle. Byrne puts it into the corner for a lineout there. 

Leinster push in Saints' 22 with an advantage coming as Saints are penalised for not releasing. They push up to the five metre line but when Graham steals the ball there we come back for the penalty. 

Leinster creep slowly into Saints' half before Gibson-Park sends the box kick up. Hendy is there but he can't quite gather the high ball and Leinster will have a scrum in Saints' 22 this time.

Solid from Saints at the scrum but there's a knock on in the midfield and Leinster have the scrum this time. 

Leinster push forwards though Frawley and Lowe but Saints' defence holds and there's a forward pass from Lowe as the ball comes wide. Scrum Saints on halfway. 

Lawes gets up to tip the ball back Saints' way at the lineout but there's a knock on on contact as Saints come forwards. Scrum Leinster this time. 

Big shove from Saints and the penalty goes their way too. Smith puts the ball into touch for a lineout back in Leinster's half. 

Mitchell sends the box kick up from the back of the lineout and though Lowe is there, Saints' defence forces the knock on hallway. Scrum Saints there. 

Leinster steal the lineout though and push over the halfway line before Byrne hacks through and finds touch in Saints' 22. Lineout Saints there. 

Good Saints defence forces Leinster to exit and it's Byrne who finds touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway.
