Saracens vs Northampton Saints

Saints tap the resulting penalty and go quickly. They're over the tryline but Graham is just her up there and Saracens will have the goal line drop out.

Penalty Saints at the breakdown as Saracens fail to release and F Smith puts it into the corner. 

Free kick Saints at the scrum though as Saracens push early. F Smith taps it quickly but there's a knock on from Saints as the ball heads wide. Scrum Saracens on halfway.

Knock on Saints though in the midfield and Saracens have the scrum there.

Knock on from Saracens as the ball heads skyward off the scrum. Saints regather and play on.

Scott-Young replaces Lawes as we set a scrum for a Saracens knock on on the restart.

Saracens maul forwards and think they've scored, we're with the TMO to see if they have.

Graham charges forwards off the scrum and Freeman breaks through. But he's penalised for rolling on the floor as he's tackled and Daly puts the ball into the corner. 

We restart with a Saints scrum. 

Farrell sends a crossfield kick over to Malins and the Saracens winger clashes heads with Collins in the air as they try to gather. Collins heads off for a HIA, with Dingwall returning in his place. 

Van Zyl sends the ball high and Collins is under this one. James sends the box kick up again, Taylor gets under this one and Saracens play on. 

No conversion for F Smith out wide but Collins claims the restart and James sends the ball skyward. Daly is there but he's taken down quickly and Saracen play on halfway. 

James and Collins replace Mitchell and Dingwall as we restart.

Van Zyl sends a box kick of his own up after a few phases and Ramm is there. The ball comes wide left to Dingwall before heading all the way back the other way. Hutchinson charges forwards down the right and Saints play on.

Scrappy off the lineout from Saints but they keep the ball before Mitchell sends the box kick high. Goode is under it and Saracens play on inside their half. 

Itoje pounces on the bouncing ball on the restart but Graham gets over the ball in the next phase and earns Saints the penalty. F Smith puts it into touch for a lineout on haflway.

Lawes is up for the lineout and Saints move the ball quickly to the midfield. They play on there.

Saints turn the ball over again though and play on again before Furbank boots the ball clear. Farrell returns it but the ball bounces dead and we come all the way back for a Saints scrum in Saracens' half. 

Saracens claim the lkineout though and Itoje breaks through Saints' line. He makes it up to halfway before he's taken down and Saracens play on.

Free kick Saracens as Saints are deemed to have pre-engages. Farrell boots it downfield and Ramm is there. F Smith hacks through for Freeman to chase but Goode just gets there first. He finds touch with his kick though and Saints have the lineout in Saracens' 22.

R Smith and Hill enter play as we set the scrum, with Cruse and Davison making way. 

Hutchinson almost breaks through Saracens' line but is just held, but there's a knock on from Saints in the next phase and Saracens have the scrum. 

Saints push back into Saracens' 22 quickly and keep coming.

Saints come forwards but there's a knock on from Saracens in the tackle which heads into touch. Saints choose the lineout.

Saints reclaim the restart and push into Saracens' 22 now.

And Saints' reward comes in the form of a turn over. They play on just outside Saracens' 22 now.

Furbank puts the ball on his boot from the resort and Goode returns it. There's some more aerial tennis before Saracens are forced to play the ball under Saints' rushing defensive line.

Mitchell taps a penalty quickly for Saints as they continue to push forwards. The ball comes wide to Ludlam to carry into the 22. Still Saints push. 

Ribbans is up for the lineout and Saints maul forwards with it. The ball comes out into the midfield but somehow Saracens get a hand to it and Van Zyl sends the box kick up. Furbank is there and Saints play on. 

Saracens break into Saints' 22 through Goode and Maitland but when the fullback tries to offload to Van Zyl, it goes forwards. Saints dive of the loose ball and boot it clear. Saracens get back but Saints get over the ball on the halfway line and Furbank puts the penalty into the corner. 

Hutchinson dives on loose ball from Saracens as it comes wide. Saints push forwards into Saracens' half but Earl gets over the ball there. Farrell puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout on Saints' 22.

Saints turn the ball over on the restart and Mitchell dances forwards with it. Saints push up to the five metre line but Saracens are rewarded for getting over the ball there and Farrell sends it into touch for a lineout on halfway.

Saints defend hard as Saracens push up to the 22 but there's a penalty for the home side there at the ruck.

Saints are found offside off the lineout though and Farrell puts the resulting penalty into touch for another lineout, this one on Saints' 22. 

Saints push forwards but the ball just heads into touch as they whip it wide. Lineout Saracens just outside their 22. 

Overthrow at the lineout from Saints but they keep possession and play on.

Saints think they're over the ball again but Lawes is penalised for playing the nine. Farrell puts the ball into the corner for a lineout there.

Saints intercept the ball off the back of the lineout as Saracens look to whip it wide and Mitchell sends the ball high. Goode is there and Saracens play on again.

Saints hold Saracens' maul and Van Zyl sends the box kick up. The ball bounces as it comes down and Saracens regather. Farrell dinks the ball through to Saints' 22 and Furbank is back to cover. Mitchell sends a box kick of his own high and finds touch. Lineout Saracens.

Saracens make it up to halfway where Saints' defence holds firm. Farrell sends a chips through and Furbank finds touch with his own in response. Lineout Saracens on halfway. 

Mitchell finds Hutchinson off the lineout. He finds Furbank and Saints have a penalty as Saracens fail to release in the tackle. But Smith's kick misses touch and Saracens play on.

Ribbans gets Saints onto the front foot off the lineout but they knock on in contact in the next phase and Saracens boot the ball clear. Saints gather but are penalised for not releasing and Farrell puts the penalty into the corner. 

Free kick Saracens at the scrum and they take it quickly. But they're pinged at breakdown for holding Saints bodies in the ruck. Smith puts the resulting penalty into touch for a lineout just outside Saracens' 22. 

Lawes rises highest for the restart and Mitchell sends the ball downfield. But he's under pressure and overcooks his kick, with the ball bouncing over the dead ball line. We come back for a scrum to Saracens just outside Saints' 22.

Ludlam is up for this lineout and Saints maul forwards before Dingwall trucks it up. Saracens are offside at the next phase though and Smith points to the posts.

Goode clears the restart and finds touch. Lineout Saints back near halfway.

Farrell clears downfield and Mitchell is there again. He returns it Saints' way and though they're over the ball, they're pinged for not rolling away. Farrell puts the penalty into touch for a lineout on halfway. 

Ribbans is up for the lone out and Saints maul forwards before Mitchell puts it on his boot. Freeman chases but Saracens just managed to get there first and play on in their own 22 now.

Saints push forwards but the ball comes loose and Saracens come forwards with the ball. They tear through up to Saints' 22 but they too lose the ball there. Saints dive on it and they earn the penalty at the next phase too as Saracens go off their feet. Smith puts the ball into touch or a lineout on halfway.

Ludlam and Moon charge forwards from the lineout and Saints continue to push in Saracens' 22.

Penalty for Saints to restart after Furbank is seen to and Smith puts it into the corner for a lineout there.

Van Zyl sends the ball skyward from the KO and there's a collision between Maitland and Furbank in the air and we'll pause the game.
