REPORTS TO: Hospitality Sales Manager / Commercial Events Manager
LOCATION: cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens
OVERVIEW:
Northampton Saints are offering the opportunity for a university student to gain experience within our Sales & Event department during their placement year. The successful applicant will be responsible for the creation, management and delivery of all systems and process related to Sales & Events from September 2025 to the end of June 2026 – focusing on internal efficiencies and excellent customer service before, during and after home matches and other events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with senior members of the department to agree and implement the most effective internal systems and processes required to deliver an excellent customer experience for clients
- Responsible for the delivery of all operations associated with Saints Hospitality & Events
- Allocate match tickets in TicketMaster Sport for each booking that is entered into Salesforce CRM
- Administer the fulfilment of tickets, accreditations, car parking and any other valid documentation specific for the event within the agreed delivery time
- Lead on all administrative tasks for the department, to include processing incoming and outgoing post, support with managing incoming calls and liaise with suppliers
- Liaise with the accounts team to reconcile paid bookings & support with the weekly aged debtors meetings
- Work with Marketing and Communications department to deliver any creative requirements for the team, following the agreed internal processes
- Develop close working relationships with our stakeholders to ensure effective communication in an extremely busy working environment
- Lead on all feedback metrics including NPS surveys and debrief meetings following each event with accurate and effective minute taking

- Ideally hold a UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle for off-site visits and client away days
- The role requires extended hours on occasion during times of peak activity including evenings and weekends
