REPORTS TO: Marketing and Memberships Executive
LOCATION: cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens
OVERVIEW:
An exciting position for a university student looking to develop their marketing skills during their placement year. You will report to the Marketing Executive and support the Marketing department from July 2025 to the end of June 2026.
The purpose of the role is to not only support the department, but develop your own skills in traditional and digital marketing, working across inbound and outbound marketing campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing team
- Support the Marketing and Ticketing Director and wider team in the management of Northampton Saints marketing activity
- Help coordinate all Saints departments to ensure they have the necessary marketing support to deliver against departmental objectives
- Support the Marketing team in delivering any supporter events
- Support digital marketing campaigns
- Research new marketing trends
- Attend Club meetings and briefings when required
The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and the successful applicant may be required to undertake additional duties to meet the needs of the organisation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Currently undertaking a degree in Marketing or other relevant subject
- An effective team member with a willingness to take on varied roles and tasks
- Strong administrative skills including high levels of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- IT literate, with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Able to work without direct supervision when necessary
- Full driving license and ability to travel desirable
