LOCATION: cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens
REMIT:
The Industrial Placement within the Community department at Northampton Saints will provide an opportunity to gain insight into a wide range of areas from the day-to-day running of the department, core programmes within schools and on camps, and matchday engagement. This is an exciting position for a university student from July 2025 to the end of June 2026.
There will be opportunities to gain coaching qualifications and experience with all ages and abilities within both mainstream and specialist settings, as well as managing and delivering on your own projects/events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Senior Community Executive in the promotion, planning, and delivery of a broad range of community programmes, both at cinch stadium at Franklin’s Gardens and across the broader community region
- Support on the sales and delivery of Community matchday programmes and activations at home fixtures at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens
- Support in additional administrative duties, including promoting and processing of matchday community group ticket sales
- Assist in managing the Community social media channels and delivering on the marketing plan
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Currently undertaking a degree in Sport, Sports Management, Sport and Exercise Science, or other relevant subjec
- An effective team member with sufficient flexibility and willingness to take on varied roles and tasks
- Confident to speak to and engage with large groups
- Strong administrative skills including high levels of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- IT literate, with a good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Able to work without direct supervision when necessary
- Clear DBS check
- Full driving license and ability to travel desirable
