Loughborough Lightning will play a first-ever Friday night match at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens in 2025.
Trailfinders Women will be the visitors under the floodlights on Friday 21 February (kick-off: 7.45pm) in the 18th and final round of the 2024/25 regular Premiership Women’s Rugby season.
Lightning versus Trailfinders is one of four fixtures kicking off on the same evening as Gloucester-Hartpury host Harlequins, Leicester Tigers welcome Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks travel to Saracens.
PWR has also revealed the fixture times and dates for Rounds 15, 16 and 17. The East Midlands Derby at Mattioli Woods Welford Road between Lightning and Tigers takes place on Saturday 25 January (kick-off: 12.45pm). The Round 15 match will be broadcast live by TNT Sports.
Then in Round 16, Bristol Bears host Lightning at Shaftesbury Park on Saturday 1 February (kick-off: 2pm). Lightning have their second bye weekend in Round 17 before their season finale against Trailfinders at the Gardens the following weekend.
