Tom Collins has been named the cinch Player of the Month for April, with the winger’s impressive performances in Northampton Saints’ final two Gallagher Premiership matches seeing him claim over 50% of the supporter vote.
Northampton took to the field twice in the Premiership across April, hosting Saracens at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens before securing a crucial 66-5 win over Newcastle Falcons on the road and securing their place in the league’s knock-out rounds.
And it was the 28-year-old winger who claimed the overwhelming majority of the supporter vote to take home the award as he edged out fellow nominees Lewis Ludlam, Alex Mitchell, Alex Moon and David Ribbans.
Featuring in both of Saints’ Premiership outings in April, Collins continued his prolific vein of form – scoring a brace of tries in a man-of-the-match performance against Newcastle Falcons – before rounding off his final appearance at the Gardens with another score in the friendly clash with Leicester Tigers at the end of the month.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month’s winner was Wendy Percival, who was selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted on the cinch Player of the Month award to win a personalised signed Saints shirt.
