Northampton Saints Under-18s have named their squad for the first match of the Premiership Rugby U18 Academy League season.
East Midlands rivals Leicester Tigers are the visitors to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens for the fixture which is being played on Pitch 2 and kicks off at 12pm on Friday (25 August).
A 22-man matchday squad is named for the eagerly-anticipated derby match as the boys in Black, Green and Gold commence their quest to go one better this season after successive U18 Academy League runners-up finishes.
Following that match is a second East Midlands derby at 3pm, as Northampton Saints Under-17s take on Leicester Tigers Under-17s in a friendly match.
