Northampton Saints will partner Travis Perkins for the ‘TP Big Xmas Toy Collection’ during the Club’s Gallagher Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons next month.
With the aim of brightening the festive season for thousands of young people in care and in need across Northamptonshire, Saints and Travis Perkins are calling on all supporters to make this great community initiative a success.
To deliver this project Saints and TP will also be working alongside Stand Out Northamptonshire, an aspiring charity set up by Northamptonshire County Council, supported by partners and developed via co-production with local children in care and care leavers.
Toys will be donated at Saints’ Premiership clash against the Falcons on Saturday 1st December (kick-off 3pm), and then distributed to young people and children for whom Christmas would just be another day.
And to celebrate the renewal of this festive partnership between Saints and Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders merchants will be supporting the Club in offering £1 tickets for the match for any supporter under 18 years of age.
Saints supporters can get involved by…
- Spending no more than £10 on a new toy or gift
- Bringing it along to the Northampton Saints match against Newcastle Falcons on Friday 1st December
- Donating the gift at one of multiple drop-off points for the Toy Collection – including the ‘Travis Perkins truck’ in the centre of the Match Day Village at Franklin’s Gardens, and also another Travis Perkins collection point by the statue as you enter through the main gates.
If you are unable to attend the game, you can leave toy donations at the Travis Perkins branches on Harvey Reeves Road or at their offices at Lodge Way House, Lakeside Divisional Support Centre and the P&H Branch Support Centre, Crick anytime between now and Thursday 30 November.
Donations will also be accepted at the main reception at Franklin’s Gardens leading up to the game.
