Saints partner Travis Perkins for tenth Big Christmas Toy and Hamper Collection

Northampton Saints will partner Travis Perkins for the ‘TP Big Christmas Toy Collection’ for the tenth time during the Club’s Gallagher Premiership clash with Harlequins on the evening of Friday 24 November.

The aim of the activity is to brighten the festive season for thousands of young people in care and families in need across Northamptonshire, and Travis Perkins and Saints are calling on Travis Perkins colleagues and Saints’ supporters to help.

Donating is as easy as (mince) pie too. You can donate a toy, gift or hamper item at the game, or in advance (by Friday 24 November) at TP Harvey Reeves Road, the reception of our Primary Distribution Hub in Brackmills, or at The Hub reception, as well as the main reception and shop at cinch stadium at Franklin’s Gardens. For some great ideas for what to donate, see below.

"We’re delighted to have once again teamed up with our long-standing partner Travis Perkins for the tenth year of the Big Toy and Hamper Collection,” said Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Northampton Saints.

“This time of year can provide many challenges for families and young people, especially with the current cost of living situation, so initiatives such as this are hugely important. The generosity our supporters show for the toy collection is always fantastic and we’re sure we will have another successful year.”

Saints supporters can get involved by…

  • Spending no more than £10 on a new toy or gift (see the tabs below for a list of ideas)
  • Bringing it along to the Northampton Saints match against Harlequins on Friday 24 November
  • Donating the gift at one of multiple drop-off points for the Toy Collection – including the ‘Travis Perkins truck’ by the statue as you enter through the main gates, and also another Travis Perkins collection point in the centre of the Supporter Village at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
  • If you are unable to attend the game, you can leave toy donations at the Travis Perkins branches on Harvey Reeves Road or at their offices at The Hub, Cornerstone House and the Primary Distribution Hub in Brackmills between now and Friday 25 November.
  • Donations will also be accepted at the main reception and inside the Saints Store at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens until Friday 1 December.

Thank you for your continued support and for changing the lives of young people and children at Christmas!
