Saints and Lightning to play double header vs Sale Sharks next month

Northampton Saints and Loughborough Lightning will play back-to-back on Saturday 18 February, as both sides face Sale Sharks in the Gallagher Premiership and the Allianz Premier 15s respectively.

The men in Black, Green and Gold will kick-off the action at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens at 3pm, with Lightning taking to the hallowed turf at the later time of 5.30pm.

Saints boast a strong record against the Sharks on home soil, with Northampton claiming victory in eight of the last 11 clashes between the sides at the Gardens, and Phil Dowson’s side will be hoping to reverse their loss in Sale earlier this season.

Meanwhile Loughborough will look to climb the league standings as they then welcome Sharks’ women’s side, for what will be their third outing of the season at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Tickets – which provide entry for both clashes – are on sale now. Season Ticket Holders and Members will enjoy an extended priority window as part of their packages of four and two days respectively, during which a 20% discount will be applied to ticket prices.

For Saints and Lightning vs Sale Sharks, this means prices will start from just £17 adult / £6 child*.

From Saturday 7 January, tickets will be placed on general sale, starting from just £18 adult / £6 child* within the Early Bird pricing window, which closes on Saturday 21 January. After the Early Bird window closes, prices for all supporters for this fixture will start at £22 adult / £8 child*.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS / 6 GAMES, 1 TICKET PURCHASERS:

• All remaining home Gallagher Premiership games are included in within your package – and your ticket will include the Loughborough Lightning vs Sale clash too.
• You can purchase extra tickets for the matches on Saturday 18 February from 12pm on Tuesday 3 January during a four-day presale window, where you will also enjoy an exclusive 20% discount rate until Saturday 7 January.
• Please ensure you are logged into your ticketing account using your membership number to purchase online.

LOUGHBOROUGH LIGHTNING TICKET PURCHASERS:

• Ticket purchasers for the original Lightning vs Sale match and five-match Lightning bundle holders will automatically receive a ticket credit** to their ticketing account, and will be contacted by the Club with full details via email shortly.
• As a result, anyone wishing to attend the matches on Saturday 18 February will need to purchase a new ticket for the double header.
• A unique link will be sent via email to purchase tickets for the double header at a discounted rate – with tickets available to these supporters from 12pm on Tuesday 3 January.
• Please log into your ticketing account using your membership number and select the ‘Lightning’ rate to purchase online.

SAINTS MEMBERS:

• Those who have purchased a Membership for the 2022/23 season – still available for £20 adult and £10 junior* – can secure their early-access tickets from 12pm on Thursday 5 January, during a two-day presale window – with Members’ tickets also subject to an exclusive 20% discount during that window.
• Please ensure you are logged into your ticketing account using your membership number (found on your original purchase receipt) to purchase online.

EARLY BIRD TICKETS:

• All remaining tickets will go on general sale in the Early Bird window from Saturday 7 January – with a 15% discount applied to ticket prices for a two-week period.

GENERAL SALE TICKETS:

• Tickets will then rise to full price at 11.59pm on Saturday 21 January.
• Please note, ticket prices will rise by a further £3 (per ticket) if purchased on a matchday.
