Franklin's Gardens opens up the gates on the next May Bank Holiday for an End of Season Concert, 'Party At The Gardens' sponsored by Somersby.
Whether you pre-book your picnic with us or bring your own food and drink (must be in suitable containers) to the concert, you can be sure to be thrown back to the 80's era! Party At The Gardens is bought to you by Here And Now and produced by Tony Denton Productions, with LIVE performances from some of the biggest stars of the 80's. Your line up includes; RICK ASTLEY best known for his number 1 hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ which went to number 1 in 25 countries; HOT CHOCOLATE, the British band that has made a hit every year between 1970 and 1984; and the stars of the 1981 eurovision, CHERYL BAKER, MIKE NOLAN and JAY ASTON formally of BUCKS FIZZ. Also performing on the evening is TOYAH who has 20 albums spanning a 30 year career; ALTERED IMAGES the new/wave punk band; the ‘Native New Yorker’ singers ODYSSEY and last but not least KATRINA (ex of the Waves), all getting the party started on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25th.
So whether you are gathering the girls for a great night out, a supporter saying your goodbyes to the 14/15 season, or a family showing the kids what you used to listen to, this concert is for everyone! Not only that, but we are also bringing the curtain down on the Sturtridge Stand to make way for a new stand and expand the capacity of Franklin's Gardens less than 24 hours after the show. With the perfect setting for a night of celebrations, be sure to purchase your tickets today and don't miss out on this fantastic event - previously a sell out in Northampton!
Tickets can be booked now at the Franklin’s Gardens Ticket Office or online at www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/buytickets for what will be a great Gardens occasion. Gates open at 4pm with the show kicking off at 6pm!
