Northampton Saints Business Club, powered by cinch, is aiming to build on a hugely successful inaugural year by welcoming on board new members for 2025.
Launched in January 2024, the Business Club was created with the aim of providing businesses and entrepreneurs with unique resources and networking opportunities to help them unlock new growth for their brands.
Nearly 100 members signed up in year one including several club partners, local and national companies covering a diverse range of industry sectors.
Amongst the many guest speakers who appeared in one of the four flagship, in-person events were Saints legends Courtney Lawes and Stephen Myler, plus adventure athlete and world record holder Jack Fleckney. The Business Club has featured many leading figures from the business world on its panel – including Avril Palmer-Baunack, Founder and Executive Chair at cinch, and Stuart Pringle, Managing Director of Silverstone Circuit, who featured in the ‘Building Cultures in Teams’ event.
The Business Club also had events that focused on ‘High Performance Environments’ and ‘Developing Resilience and Promoting Well Being’, which saw the likes of Nathan Hines, Business Development Director at Gallagher, former England Netball captain Pamela Cookey, and Tom Warner, Founder of Warner’s Distillery, share their expertise and insight.
Events in 2025 will once more be hosted by popular broadcaster Claire Thomas, who is a regular face on TNT Sports and Premier Sports’ coverage of rugby union.
cinch stadium at Franklin’s Gardens hosts regular Business Club coffee mornings held throughout the year. Meanwhile the private, online Business Club group will continue to provide a platform for members to promote their businesses, events, and offerings – as well as reaching out for advice when it is needed.
Saints’ team will stay in touch with the objectives of Business Club members, driving conversations, enabling connections, and showcasing new opportunities.
“The first year of Northampton Saints Business Club was a tremendous success with around 100 members signing up,” said James Wootton, Head of Sales and Events at Northampton Saints.
“Our aim when we launched was to harness the power of the Saints community and to unlock new opportunities for local and national businesses, large and small alike, to grow. I think, together we have been successful in achieving that goal.”

“Moving into our second year in 2025, we want to see it go from strength to strength, providing our members with networking and collaborative opportunities to develop new business relationships and prospects.
“We want to continue to help our members to move the needle within their own businesses by forming new connections with like-minded individuals who are both looking for opportunities and willing to share insight and new ideas.”
