Northampton Saints captain Lewis Ludlam has been named Travis Perkins Player of the Month for November, after claiming almost 50% of the supporter vote.
The 26-year-old flanker claimed the award after beating fellow nominees Alex Coles, Tom James, Karl Wilkins for his efforts in the back row against Sale Sharks and Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership.
Ludlam – who sandwiched a period spent in the England camp with his two Saints outings in November – shone in defence throughout the month, making it through November without missing a tackle.
Love a win on the road - think the skipper is happy!!

And the Saints skipper also led from the front in attack, with his ten carries and 89 metres made against Bristol alone helping Northampton to their bonus-point win at Ashton Gate.
Saints and Travis Perkins have joined forces this season to offer supporters the chance to win fantastic prizes, while rewarding Northampton’s players for their stellar performances throughout the campaign.
This month’s winner was Philip Clarke, who was selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted on the Travis Perkins Player of the Month award to win £50 worth of Saints Store vouchers.
