Henry Pollock has been named the cinch Player of the Month for September, with the flanker’s impressive performances in Northampton Saints’ opening matches of the season seeing him claim over 50% of the supporter vote.
Northampton started their season in the Premiership Rugby Cup, facing Ealing Trailfinders, Cambridge Rugby, Bristol Bears and Bath Rugby across the first four rounds of the tournament – securing a 55-5 win over Cambridge and a dramatic 43-42 win over Bath Rugby on home soil.
And it was the 18-year-old who claimed the overwhelming majority of the supporter vote to take home the award as he edged out fellow nominees Sam Graham, George Hendy, Tom Seabrook and Angus Scott-Young.
Featuring against Ealing, Cambridge and Bath the dynamic back rower kicked his season off strongly, with Pollock making an impressive 41 tackles and 24 carries across his three outings while hitting some 36 attacking rucks and 22 defensive rucks to boot.

Throughout the season, cinch will also be offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes.
This month’s winner was Seb Gardiner, who was selected at random out of over 500 supporters who voted on the cinch Player of the Month award to win a personalised signed Saints shirt.
