Northampton Saints head into the Investec Champions Cup knock-out stages this Friday (4 April, kick-off: 8pm), facing ASM Clermont Auvergne at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

The clash is Saints’ second consecutive Round-of-16 outing on home soil – having defeated Munster Rugby 24-14 in the same match last term – and marks the next step on the way to the competition’s Cardiff Final in May.

Clermont make the trip to Northampton for the first time since 2018, when a third meeting of the two sides on English soil ended in a 20-41 loss for the men in Black, Green and Gold. The previous season provided Saints’ only victory over Clermont at home, with tries from Teimana Harrison, Nafi Tuitavake, Ben Foden, Ken Pisi and Cobus Reinach securing a spectacular 34-21 win.

Tickets for Friday’s clash remain available from just £25 adult / £9 child* HERE.
