Northampton Saints are opening a new, family-friendly restaurant for the Club’s Premiership Rugby Cup fixtures against Leicester Tigers and Nottingham.
‘Bernie’s Diner’ will be located in what is usually the Heroes Restaurant in the Carlsberg Stand for back-to-back weekends (Friday 1 November and Saturday 9 November) to offer families a new space to enjoy matchdays at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
With a special junior meal deal on offer for just £6.50 (which includes either a katsu chicken curry pot with rice or cheeseburger slider with fries, plus cinnamon ring doughnuts and a choice of soft drink), Bernie’s Diner is the perfect place for young families to soak up the pre-match atmosphere at Saints.
The menu (which can be viewed in full HERE) also features a beef brisket burger, loaded nachos, and katsu chicken or aubergine wraps so the adults in your party won’t be going hungry, and drinks can be purchased from the bar inside the Heroes Restaurant.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the company of Bernie the Dog throughout their stay, with the Club’s canine mascot acting as Maître D’ for Bernie’s Diner!
As well as being available for photos, hugs and high-fives, Bernie will provide fun activity sheets, crayons and face painters for the kids to enjoy before, during or after your meal – and several Saints players* will also be stopping by for a visit pre-match.
Bernie‘s Diner is open to all supporters ahead of the matches. No reservations are available, but come on down to find a table when the restaurant opens from two hours before kick-off, with space for up to 120 guests at a time. Please note; tables can be occupied for up to one hour.
