Northampton Saints is holding its popular evening masterclasses at four different venues in the New Year, with the skills-based courses available to book now.
The evening rugby masterclasses – that cost just £35* (Northamptonshire) / £25 (other locations) – are designed to provide a short and sharp learning experience to accompany young rugby players, both male and female aged from under-12s to 17s, with their regular training, drawing down on the core principles of the senior Saints and Loughborough Lightning sides.
Focussing on skills-based learning and position-specific techniques, the courses aim to help young rugby players hone their skills – with each masterclass centred on a different area such as attack, tackling, breakdown, kicking or half-back skills.
Masterclasses in Northamptonshire take place in Saints’ High Performance Centre (HPC) at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens, with Northampton and Lightning player visits to the masterclasses also available across all locations (subject to availability). Other venues include Ipswich, Bedford Athletic and Milton Keynes rugby clubs.
