Voting for the cinch Player of the Month award for November is open, with supporters able to choose the Saint they believe made the biggest contribution on the pitch across the month.
The competition will remain open until Monday 16 December, when the winning player will be announced by Northampton Saints and cinch.
Throughout the season, cinch are also offering up a range of prizes for those who vote for the award, with one lucky supporter each month selected at random after voting closes. For November, one lucky winner will receive a Saints ball signed by the winner of this month’s vote!
Saints embarked on their Premiership Rugby Cup campaign in November, ending the first block of matches unbeaten after home wins against Leicester Tigers (31-12), Nottingham Rugby (31-29) and an hard-fought away victory at Championship leaders Coventry Rugby (10-19).
Though a disappointing loss to Gloucester Rugby ended Saints’ home record as they returned to the Gallagher Premiership to round out the month, with the Cherry and Whites running out 17-25 winners at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.
With those clashes in mind, Saints’ coaches have selected four nominees for the monthly award; Tom Litchfield, George Makepeace-Cubitt, Chunya Munga and Craig Wright.
Centre Litchfield featured in every minute of Saints’ matches in November and impressed on both sides of the ball, making some 43 carries, 29 tackles and four turnovers throughout the month.
20-year-old Makepeace-Cubitt took over at fly-half for Northampton during the Cup window and featured in all 240 minutes of the competition so far, scoring 16 points from the tee while also making 18 carries, 36 tackles and eight turnovers in the three matches.
Lock Munga featured in three of Saints’ four outings in November, captaining the men in Black, Green and Gold against Leicester Tigers and leading from the front as he made some 39 tackles and hit 69 attacking rucks across the month.
And hooker Wright featured in all three of the Cup clashes last month, scoring the decisive try against Nottingham while making 34 tackles and hitting 46 attacking rucks throughout November.
