Loyalty Points Scheme

Ahead of the 2010/11 season Northampton Saints are introducing a brand new loyalty points system for all Season Ticket Holders, Associate Members and Registered Supporters.

The scheme is intended to replace the existing ballot system and to reward our most active supporters with loyalty points. These points will be awarded and accumulated throughout the season for attending home and away matches and can even be built upon through attending special events, special offers and even selected shop purchases.

The points will then be activated for a specified match, such as a knockout Heineken Cup game, giving priority booking on tickets to those with the highest points. During the season we will also make other offers and events available for our most loyal supporters.

The only way you can be a part of the scheme is to join one of the club's membership schemes ahead of the 2010/11 season - you cannot collect points if you are not a member! How does it work?

Points will be allocated in the following way:
30 points - All Season Tickets Holders, Associate Members
At the outset of the season all Season Ticket Holders and Associate Members will receive 30 points on their personal account to thank them for their commitment

5 points - 2009/10 Renewed Season Ticket Holders
At the outset of the season all Season Ticket Holders which have renewed their existing seat will receive an additional five points on their personal account as a reward for their continued support

1 point - All Premiership home and away matches
All Season Ticket Holders, Associate Members and Registered Supporters will receive one point per home and away match attended

3 points- All Heineken Cup home and away matches
All Season Ticket Holders, Associate Members and Registered Supporters will receive three points per home and away match attended

5 points - All LV= Cup home and away matches
All Season Ticket Holders, Associate Members and Registered Supporters will receive five points per home and away match attended

Your points will last until the end of the campaign; your account will not get zeroed in the event of a mid-season knockout match.

Points will not be awarded for Pre-Season or Wanderers matches. However further point bonuses may be attached to specific matches and/or events during the season; notification of this will be given at the time. Points will be awarded for the forthcoming leg of the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby Sevens Series that will be held at Franklin's Gardens on July 30th.

You can keep a track of your loyalty points by simply logging onto your online account or calling our tickets office where one of our customer service staff will help you, please allow a minimum of 48 hours after the game or event for the points to be added.

How do I use my points?

The main purpose of the points will be to afford priority to knockout games. The points will be activated with those supporters in the highest point category taking priority. These supporters will be entitled to purchase tickets within the set deadline, once this deadline closes supporters who fall into a lower point category will then be entitled to purchase tickets and so on.

An example is as follows (please note that point cut-off points will be announced ahead of the specific game, event or promotion in question):
Priority 1: 60 points and above
Priority 2: 40 - 59 points
Priority 3: 20 - 39 points
Priority 4: All remaining tickets (if any)

Points may also be used for other events and promotions such as shop discounts or priority on limited edition items.

Notification on matches, events and promotions where points will be used will be given in the usual manner i.e. eZine, Twitter, website, match programme and announcements. We highly recommend that you follow our Twitter site as this gives you instant notification on Club news.

Please Note:
Points will be issued per match and not per ticket. If you are purchasing more than one ticket using the friends and family system the additional points will be awarded to the friends and family member you are purchasing on behalf of.

Northampton Rugby Football Club reserves the right to apply the use of the loyalty point's process in order to obtain match tickets to any other fixture outside of the matches listed above, if required.
